The story.
"Say buttermilk," my poppa would challenge me as I pouted across the dinner table. It was a game we'd play, his secret weapon for a guaranteed smile out of any of his grandkids, no matter the degree of frown, tantrum, or meltdown. "Say buttermilk ten times without smiling." I never could make it to ten, not even close - he won every time. Never did a single frown fail to turn upside-down, which meant, of course, that we all won. Now, I hope to carry on his tradition and his joy. In honor of the man who could always make me smile, the man who loved Jesus so very much,

All of Say Buttermilk's cards begin with the same inspiration: a smile. With that in mind, founder Alexandra Cox creates each drawing by hand with lots of love, care, and attention to detail.
Once all the finishing touches are made, the cards are then professionally and proudly printed in her beloved hometown, Lakeland, Florida.
